The Society of Forensic Interviewers (SoFI) is the name of a registered not-for-profit company founded in 2013 with the purpose of establishing a self-regulatory quality standard for ethical investigative interviewing. The Society also provides information, accredited training courses, and other services to members.
To establish and administer a quality standard for ethical investigative interviewing that is widely adopted and adhered to by practitioners and trainers across the world who work in this field. Additionally, to provide information, accredited training courses, and other services that support members in improving the quality of their knowledge of and skills in investigative interviewing.
